Gucci Mane has been one of the most interesting stories in all of hip-hop history. Murder, drug addiction, prison stints at the height of his career — you name it. Wop has one hell of a story to tell, and he’s about to do it on the big screen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the mane personally known as Radric Davis is finally getting his own biopic. Paramount Pictures and Imagine (Empire and 8 Mile) will handle the project, with Guwop and Todd Moskowitz serving as executive producers.
The report says the film be an adaption of The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, which tackles his struggles with addiction, his highly-publicized feuds with other well-known rappers, and his tremendous road to redemption.
A name and release frame for the pic is unknown as of now. We’ll keep you updated as more details emerge. Stay tuned!
