Kendrick Lamar Thanks ‘Black Panther: The Album’ Collaborators

With Black Panther: The Album officially in the wind, King Kendrick took time out of his busy Sunday to thank everyone who allowed him to steer the project with confidence.

Kenny had the task of composing and executive producing the soundtrack alongside TDE Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith. Not only did he compose and produce, he also appeared as a featured artist on every song in some way. Needless to say — it’s pretty much perfect.

“Respect to all the artists/producers that allowed me to execute a sound for the soundtrack,” he wrote in a tweet. “The concept of producing and composing a project other than my own has always been ideal.” The Compton megastar signed off with: “Continue to be great.”

Black Panther the movie opens on February 16. You can listen to the album here.
