This past Friday marked 4 years since the unforgettable release of the iconic Nike Air Yeezy II “Red October” colorway. 4 years later, and the popular iteration is still on Kanye’s mind.
According to a new report from TMZ, Ye is looking to lockdown exclusive rights to the shoe’s moniker yet again. The multi-talented megastar first made attempts to trademark the name back in 2013. However, they fell through due to unfinished paperwork and he ultimately ended up leaving Nike.
If Mr. West is successful in his latest attempt, the “Red October” concept could be making its way to various YEEZY pieces. Can you imagine the field day resellers would have toting that moniker over an eBay title?
Stay tuned to see where this thing goes.
